Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Eventpipe ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The Service is operated by Eventpipe AB, org.nr. 559 421-3847, registered in Stockholm, Sweden. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

Eventpipe provides an event routing and webhook delivery platform. The Service includes API access, dashboard access, event routing, webhook delivery, retry management, and delivery logging. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service with reasonable notice.

3. Account Terms

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys
• One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Swedish or EU law
• Transmit malware, viruses, or any destructive code through the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
• Use the Service to conduct distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission
• Use the Service to send unsolicited bulk communications (spam)

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. API Usage

• API access is subject to rate limits based on your plan tier
• API keys are confidential and should not be shared publicly
• We may throttle or temporarily restrict API access during periods of excessive load
• You agree to implement reasonable error handling and respect rate limit headers
• Automated systems must identify themselves via User-Agent headers

6. Payment Terms

• A free tier is available with usage limitations as described on our pricing page
• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance, in US Dollars (USD)
• Payment is processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service
• Prices may change with 30 days written notice
• We offer a 14-day refund on first payment for new customers
• Unpaid invoices may result in service suspension after 14 days

7. Service Level Agreement

• Pro and Business plans include a 99.9% monthly uptime target
• Uptime excludes scheduled maintenance (announced 48 hours in advance)
• Service credits for downtime: 10% credit per 0.1% below the 99.9% target, up to a maximum of 30% of monthly fees
• Credits must be requested within 30 days of the incident
• Credits are applied to future invoices and are not redeemable for cash

8. Data and Privacy

• Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy
• You retain all ownership rights to your event data
• We process your data solely as necessary to provide the Service
• Upon account termination, you may export your data within 30 days
• After the export period, data is permanently deleted within 90 days

9. Intellectual Property

• The Service, including all software, documentation, and trademarks, is owned by Eventpipe AB
• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these terms
• You retain ownership of all data and content you transmit through the Service

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Swedish law:

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• Eventpipe AB shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim
• This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded under Swedish law

11. Termination

• Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days written notice
• We may immediately terminate for material breach of these terms
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately
• Data export is available for 30 days following termination
• Sections regarding liability, intellectual property, and governing law survive termination

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Sweden. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved by Stockholms tingsrätt (Stockholm District Court) as the court of first instance.
